Canada Life


We have chosen Canada Life as our Group Protection provider because:-


  • They are a UK-based subsidiary of Great-West Lifeco, which has operations in Canada, the United States, Ireland and Germany. Canada Life have been operating in the UK since 1903 and have over 1,200 employees here
  • They are the biggest provider of Group Protection in the UK across all measures and are the number one provider for both Group Life Insurance and Group Critical Illness*
  • In the UK their services are only available through financial advisers like AEfifty Services and Bailey Financial
  • Historically we have used them for Life Insurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness cover. Their charges are competitive, which is important, but more importantly they have invested in the technology necessary to provide services directly to advisors, companies, and employees digitally. This service called Canada Life Automated Self Service, or CLASS
  • CLASS allows for them to deliver protection to smaller companies and their employees simply and efficiently at an affordable price
  • More recently they have introduced WeCare, which we believe is an outstanding addition to their portfolio of protection products as it will add significant value to the cover you pay for without extra cost to you.
